Nowakowski — So So Yesterday

There's so little left between us now.
The boy me says clean up, wash up, turn it off
somehow.
Another year we somehow slept our lives away.
No heavy tears,
no heavy price to pay.
Because it's not that bad, just so-so.
Yesterday the world was ours.
And now we just exist, just stay, so-so.
I count down to the end of the day.
